The moon passes in front of Venus (as seen from earth) for the only time this year on May 27, 2022.

Occultation hunters in Madagascar, Southeast Asia, and Indonesia will have a view of the moon passing in front of Venus.  Other viewers will see the moon pass near Venus without obscuring the planet.
