The lunar eclipse of November 8, 2022, will be the second of two total lunar eclipses to occur this year.   The eclipse will be the final eclipse event of the year.   The November eclipse will last nearly 6 hours, with the totality phase lasting 1 hour and 25 minutes.  The totality phase of the eclipse will be visible in North America, the northeastern portion of South America, Australia, and large portions of China, and Asia.
